The App was created to solve customers’ hands when ordering, with multiple features that make ordering a breeze, such as saving your order history, saving addresses you’ve used in the past, easily reuse previous payment methods, automatic selection of the nearest store for faster service, etc.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Asian House, one of the leading Asian cuisine food chains in Thessaloniki, operates four stores and offers dine-in and delivery services. The business has built its reputation by focusing on authenticity of cuisine and excellent customer service.
With the increasing demand for online ordering and the continuous growth of its digital presence, Asian House wanted to offer its customers an easy-to-use and comprehensive ordering solution through a mobile app. The challenge was to connect the company's existing infrastructure with a new app that would offer ultimate functionality and ease of use for the end user.
PROJECT INFORMATION
- Technology Tailored to the Needs of Asian House Understanding in depth the needs of such an app, we undertook the development of a tailor-made solution, using the latest technologies, Ionic 6 and React.js, to create an advanced and functional mobile app. These technologies were chosen as Ionic enables the development of apps with a native-like experience for multiple platforms, while React.js offers excellent speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience. With these technologies we created unique features in the app such as order history and recent order recurrence, favorite dishes list, ability to add tip for diners, etc.
- Implementation with a focus on WooCommerce The solution was based on Asian House's existing infrastructure, which was already using WooCommerce to manage orders. Instead of replacing the system, we proceeded to interface WooCommerce with the mobile app via multiple APIs to ensure the best possible functionality and customization of the system to meet our application needs.
- Payments: Total Security and Functionality with Viva Payments' Smart Checkout For efficient payment management, we chose Viva Payments' Smart Checkout. This option allows app users to choose from 40+ different payment methods , while ensuring the security of transactions as they are made directly in the Viva environment. The interface with the admin was done with custom implementations via Viva API
- Execution of Orders: From the App directly to the physical store via Google Maps! Imagine as soon as an order is completed via the App, the order form appears directly to the nearest store to be prepared! This is exactly what we were asked for and implemented through interfaces that include Google Maps and the Prognosi ordering system. Using APIs, we interfaced WooCommerce with Prognosi, allowing information to flow automatically from online orders to physical stores. As if by magic (i.e. another innovation we implemented, which was the automatic selection of the closest store to serve the customer based on their location, via Google Maps API), order forms appear immediately in the appropriate store, ensuring that each order is delivered correctly and on time!
