What is a brand identity?… The company itself!

The rules of marketing outline the following as the main elements of a brand identity:

  1. Brand communication is the method through which the company interacts and passes on all the necessary information to its consumers and its associates in order to develop an appealing and trustworthy image. This includes internal communication, advertising, media and public relations.
  2. Brand design brings out the company’s visual identity which is constituted by its name, its logo, its colors, possible taglines etc. These elements help the company differentiate from its competitors. The most important brand design elements are the logo, the coloring, the fonts and the website design.
  3. Brand behaviorrefers to the company’s approach towards ethics, corporate social responsibility and generally its core values and overall philosophy.

The first and last elements are not related to our industry, so we will not go into further detail. However, we know that brand design is what makes you recognizable , differentiates you from your competitors and builds a bridge of communication between you and your customers. You must use your logo, its colors and any complementary icons to efficiently promote your brand on banners, brochures, posters, tshirts, social media etc.

From the moment advertising came into our lives, all companies started searching for ways to become memorable to their consumers. Large corporations invested huge amounts of money on original logos and slogans for their marketing campaigns. It’s very difficult to see the Coca-Cola logo and not recognize it immediately. The power of marketing comes from your brand’s visual identity which must be renewed constantly according to consumer needs, fashion and market trends.
